“Yo soy Fidel” (I am Fidel) is an experimental film featuring Fidel Castro Ruz funeral through a seven-day journey of two filmmakers who followed the caravan from Havana to Santiago de Cuba transporting the ashes of the most iconic commandant of the Cuban revolution. Their perspective subverts the dichotomy found on both, world media and official media outlets.
